Set up your profile (optional)
Tap Settings to add your ZIP code and kids' ages.
Both are optional — but they help LocalPlay give you closer, age-appropriate results.

Start asking
Type a question or tap a suggestion chip. LocalPlay works like a chat — ask in plain language and get curated results with details, directions, and age info.
Things to try
- "Parks near me" — browse 80+ indexed parks with amenity info (splash pads, fencing, shade, restrooms)
- "Events this weekend" — see family-friendly events happening soon (beta feature)
- "Holi events" — find cultural and seasonal events like Holi celebrations near you
- "Indoor play for toddlers" — find play cafés, gyms, and rainy-day spots filtered by age
- "Plan today" — get a suggestion for what to do right now based on weather and what's open
- Pick a numbered result — type the number to get full details, directions, and map links
- "Help" — see everything LocalPlay can do
Good to know
LocalPlay covers the Triangle: Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Apex, Garner, Holly Springs, Chapel Hill, and nearby towns.
Parks and indoor play data is human-reviewed. Event coverage is still in beta and improving weekly.
